"I believe Greece will forever be remembered for its...for being a contributor to one of the earliest civilization this being the Minoan Civilization. Also Greece will be known for the most basic type of government this being "polis" or more commonly known as a city-state. In theory each city was independent this mean that wars would occur within the walls of Greece between naighboring cities.
Another reason in which will be remembered would be because of its many inspirations to many modern artists."

Inside the olympics is all the athlete to competion in a contest and different countries too to win a metals and games too. It's every 4 years people turn on the tv to watch and support their on countries. the wars is important to be remembered because a lot of peoples and they had a lot of war going on greece The Ionian Revolt The First Persian War The Peloponnesian War The Archidamian War The Sicilian war The Ionian or Decelean War. the war is between the athen,sparta and the city states too.

I belive Greece will forever be remebered ffor it's culture and there methods of entertianment. one thing is that they had emperors and most of the time those people were crazy with power which might have cause of Greece's downfall.Anyways the way that they had etertainment was wierd and groosum now and days i don't think killing people for entertianment is as poplular as it was before but the up side to all this is that now have an olympics and we got that off of them but there is no killing.

"I believe Greece will forever be remembered for its...wars, rulers, form of entertainment, etc... Not only that but it is also known for its food, olives,cheese,etc..These are a few of the different variety of stuff they had/have to offer. Cause if you look now it has become a tourist place.
One major thing in Greece was gods.Basically they believed if you were disrespectful to them they would have revenge and you would die. They also were very violent. In one famous well known word Olympics. They have certainly found a way to make a mark in history."

"I believe Greece will forever be remembered for its... form of entertainment and emperors. In order to entertain others,they had gladiators fight and kill eachother. They would fight in the Colosseum and the gladiators never knew if they lived or not. Usually, their families would throw parties for them in case they died the next day. Many loved seeing people killing eachother so it the fighting brang many crowds and were really entertaining. Another thing were the emperors which were usually either kind or evil. They had complete power and could do anything they desired and they were really important. Some other things Greece will be remembered for are the powerful gods, the delicious food, and the magnificant art they portrayed.
I think that Greece will be forver be remembered as being one of the biggest influence of the art and drama department. They where very first people to put on plays and have people come watch them preform. I also think that they influenced many og the famouse painters such as michel angelo and leonardo davinci and many more. .They also influenced many of the architect such as our white house and even our own school was influenced by greeces architect our main entrance looks like colloms. Thats how greece will be remebered.
ReplyDeleteI believe Greece will forever be remembered for its Democratic Government settled in Athens, their ideals in new ways to entertain themselves and the great stories of their war heroes. Democratic Governments were originated in Greece, and today this type of government is used by the United States of America. Greeks also came up with the idea of creating the Olympiads, which today has become the Olympic games. Back then there were few sports to play , most known were wrestling and track, said to be created by God Hermes. In addition Greece will always be remembered because of its greatest story teller, Homer, author of the Iliad, Troy and the Odyssey. Greece has been remembered for over 2000 years, no one will ever forget them, they are an erasable page in history.

Now a days we do all of this and we have also made it better. We also use similar architecture. You could walk around the place that you live and im sure you will be able to find a building with archetecture that seem to be taken form greece. I also think that they will their wars. There are a lot of other thing that we will not forget about greece and these are just a few.

I believe Greece will forever be remembered for its god/goddess, food, sports & noble history, for the rise in what we now know as western civilisation. Greece is known for democracy & the U.S has most def. got it from Greece. Olives are very famous in spanish dishes . something else we copied from Greece , wine was also popluar in Greece , which we use to celebrate. Greece will also be remembered by its music & drama ,lyre - instrument similar to a harp , it is used for classical music . theatre is still used around union city & other places.

I think it is the change in goverment. If they were a communist country it would take a long time to change its rules and its goverment. I think that they will need time to adjust to this drastic change . This is what i think they biggest problem would be.
I think that greece would forever be remebered for its games because of the sports. We still carry that tradition, there are a lot of sports that we have inherited from the greek. They will be remembered forever they used to do olympics and today we also do superbowls similiar to the olympics.

i think that the biggest problem in the country is the economy. this could provoke that people star doing what they can to live and give to their families all the necessary. this provoke independence to find a better way to live.
I think the U.S's biggest problem when claiming independence is the economy. The people need to start a new form of goverment, make currency, create laws, etc... When the United States gained its independence one of the biggest problems was the form of rule. they didnt now who to follow and they didnt want to do tyranny just like Great Britain. Then the laws had to be made, which was pretty difficult for them because it was alot to do. Even till this day there are laws being made and some old laws are being changed.

When claiming independence with the United States the biggest problem is the economy. The congress would have to make new laws, make new currency, and make other things. Back then when we gained independence with the United States our biggest problem was the form of rule. Like Great Britain we weren't a stong government but had things under control. Lastly, the laws are going to be the hardest thing for the government because you have to go through the congress and then the presdient.

One of the biggest problems when a country gains independence has to be the economy. As soon as you settle your country you need money to settle everything up. From jobs, laws, building, etc. When the United States had finally go what they fought for, it was hard for them to start a new country now that they didn't have the aid of the english. When the revolution was over and when the colonies had their indepndence from the british they didnt know how much problems they had to over come. One of them was that they didnt know who was there leader but the thing is that they didnt want none to lead them they thought that havein a leader was like to have a king and they didnt want a king any more. Then they had a money with money...the problem was that the goverment had no money..Since they promis their fighters from war to give them money ater the war..well they didnt have nothing to give them..then the soliders got mad...so yea

I believe Greece will forever be remembered for everything. We developed so many things from them. We have democracy, language, math, science, philosophy, drama, art, etc. I believe the best contribution of Greece was Philosophy, the love for wisdom. It was people trying to understand the ways of nature. It was scrutinize of the truth. People always are studying things that happen in everyday life. Plato was taught by Socrates and Plato taught Aristotle. These people had lived life trying to understand and letting people know that they know nothing about life. Quote, "A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true,"
-Socrates. Once Socrates was killed people later on noticed he was judicious and they did a mistake. We still use his method today and that philosophy is one of the greatest achievements from Greece.

I bolieve Greece will be remembered for it's army and it's architeture. Greece had had one of the strongest armys we know of today. A lot of the greatest warriors were from Greece like Archilles, Hector and a lot of other great warriors. If you have ever been 2 Greece and saw the architecture its very beutiful. Everything looks nice and ancient with the drawings on the wall. We got most of our architecture from them like the white house we got the architecture of the building from the Panthyon.

The biggest problem must be either its economy or setting a government. For a government, everyone in the country must be in agreement if they want to their country to be run through communism, demacracy, or any other kinds of strong governments. In economic terms, they must decided on what to tax on and how much it would be. Plus, they need to start a national currency or it would be hard for everyone to pay for certain things in certain states.

I believe Greece will forever be remembered for its government. Democracy was used in Greece and now is used in a lot of place. Such as the U.S.A, which people believe its the best way of government. Greece created this idea in which people of every kind had a say in their country.
After the revolutionary war ended,we gained independece.We survived with the British help but after the revolutionary war ended we ended up without a ruler,without a goverment,and without any ideas how to run a nation.I think these are the main problems we had to face.But there were some other problmes as well,goverment didn't had money to pay off the soldiers who faught in the revolutionary war as they promised.Which create a big tremble in the economy.But after the congress ,supreme court,and the president came up in a agreement, which solved all the problems. And brought where we are today!.
ReplyDeleteI think the biggest problem a country faces after gaining independence is money. Because like the U.S did , we went to war to fight for our independence, well we lost a lot of money there. And after there's not that much money left to start a healthy country. And that's why many soldiers and slaves didn't get paid after independence because there was not enough money. And also if there's no money there's no trading and the country will start to fall apart and another war could go on again.

When the country gain independence, some of the problems they face are the structure of government. It not easy to come up a new government especially if you do not have example of a government from other country. The whole point of the Revolutionary War was that they did not want a king or queen telling the people what to do. At that time, that was the only type of government there was. Therefore, it must have been hard to come up with democracy country.
